How to get the four arrows (up, down, right, left) to show ?

Hope you're all doing awesome,

Could you please help me out on how to get the arrows to show so I can move the cursor differently and get the previous commands I ran when I need to repeat instead copy pasting ?

My issue is not specifically the arrow but what they were used for. Right I just need a way to get ran command as I would when I'd tap the up arrow. Sorry if I give too much details, I tend to overcommunicate until I make things more complicated than they need to be [And I find myslef going at it again].

This sounds like a good impression of me. I apologize. I do appreciate the help. I haven't created a path on the newest version . I want to make sure I get my file paths straightened back out first.
